Ushers/Greeters

“As the work of Christ liturgy is also an action of his Church. It makes the Church present and manifests her as the visible sign of the communion in Christ between God and men. It engages the faithful in the new life of the community and involves the ‘conscious, active and fruitful participation of everyone. ‘The sacred liturgy does not exhaust the entire activity of the Church’: it must be preceded by evangelization, faith and conversion. It can then produce its fruits in the lives of the faithful: new life in the Spirit, involvement in the mission the of the Church, and service to her unity.” ~   Catechism of the Catholic Church 1071-1072

Ushers help guide the people into the worship space, and welcome. 

Volunteer ushers need to be 18 years old, will be trained and required to attain VIRTUS training, if not already certified.  Classes will be arranged. 

Ushers are vital, we need 4 in attendance at each Mass, at the mininum. 

If you can just donate one or two Saturday/Sunday Mass times per month this would help enormously.  



Help your parish grow, by giving your time and talent to serve at Mass.
