My name is Jamie Hitt and I am a lifelong parishioner of Saint Julie Billiart. I am a big fan of the Dodgers (sorry Father Ian), reading, writing, and drawing, and I love to start my day with a cup of what my husband refers to as, “high maintenance coffee.”
I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s from Mount Saint Mary’s University. My husband Daryl and I met here at Saint Julie’s in the High School Youth Ministry program, and we have been blessed with three beautiful children who entertain us immensely, keep us on our toes, and provide us with a lot of opportunities for prayer.
I have volunteered in many different capacities here at Saint Julie’s over the years, with Religious Education and Confirmation, and as a member of the church choir and the Pastoral Council. I am so honored to be the First Communion Coordinator and to help lead your Saints in the Making through the process of receiving the body and blood, soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ for the first time.
My prayer is that you and your children develop a lifelong love of the Eucharist and of our rich Catholic faith.
"I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth." -3 John 1:4
