Nourish for Caregivers is a new parish support ministry for anyone juggling the challenges of everyday life caring for a disabled child, or an ill or aging parent, spouse, grandparent, or friend in town or at a distance. If you are a caregiver, this is a support ministry for you. If you know someone who is a caregiver, please share this with them.
Nourish for Caregivers provides caregivers a faith perspective, as well as practical and emotional supports, useful tools, and shared experiences.
Nourish for Caregivers is a national Catholic ministry with many resources and online webinars supporting those who can not meet with us in-person, check out their online group the third Monday of every month. St Julie’s Nourish for Caregivers Support Group is a local/parish support for those who are able to attend in-person gatherings on a variety of topics. Topics include: Christ-centered view of caregiving, asking for and receiving help, avoiding common pitfalls, communication dynamics, keeping loved ones safe, caring for loved ones and yourself, speaking up and more.
