MEET CLAIRE Dempsey!
Our nEW STAFF RE TEAM MEMBER!
My name is Claire Dempsey and I am honored to be the Coordinator of Elementary, Junior High School, and Children’s Initiation at St. Julie’s.
While growing up in this parish, I attended many of the religious education programs here as a student before returning to them as a volunteer.
Since I was 11, I’ve enjoyed spending a week every summer at Vacation Bible School to share the Gospel with elementary schoolers.
In high school, I received the sacrament of Confirmation and remained involved in the Confirmation and youth ministry programs by helping my peers recognize the beauty of our faith.
In 2021, I graduated from Thomas Aquinas College after studying theology and philosophy in light of the Church’s marvelous wisdom. Since then, I have returned to the high school Confirmation program as a catechist. Over the years, I have been blessed to witness a joyful love of Christ in the community at St. Julie’s, and I look forward to continue sharing it in the coming years.
