Update June 14, 2023
THANK YOU FROM FR. IAN MEXICALI MISSION TRIP
Sisters and Brothers,
I want to extend my heartfelt
gratitude to all of you for your
incredible support and generosity in donating items for the upcoming Mexicali Mission Trip. Thanks to your
contributions, we have received an abundance of essential supplies, with just a few pairs of men’s socks remaining needed. Your kindness and compassion are truly
inspiring, and your donations will make a significant difference in the lives of those we will be serving. Thank you for being the
embodiment of love and unity in our parish community.
With deepest appreciation,
Fr. Ian -Vincent
Sisters and Brothers,
On Saturday June 24th, I will be traveling with our seminarian Vinni DeVetis representing St. Julie's along with representatives from throughout the Archdiocese sponsored by the Office of Justice and Peace for a Mexicali Border Mission Trip. Msgr. Jay Cunnane will be leading us in prayer and the trip. Msgr. Jay was the best friend for decades of Bishop Dave O'Connell who was tragically murdered this year. This trip was a passion of Bishop Dave and in his spirit and memory it will proceed. Msgr. Jay was also my Intern Year Pastor at Our Lady of Grace in Encino during my internship year.
Please see the information below for more information about the needs of these Housing Shelters. If you would like to donate any goods that are specified in the flyer, please drop them off at the Parish Office with a note they are for the Mexicali Mission Trip so as not to be confused with the weekly donations dropped off for our St. Vincent de Paul Pantry. Please leave your donations by Thursday, June 22nd.
Please keep Vinni and I and all those that will be traveling in your prayers. Thank you for your generosity.
Peace
Fr. Ian-Vincent

Please tape or attach a note that these donations are for the Mexicali Mission Trip so we do not get the items confused with our Food Pantry.
You can drop donated items off at the parish office during the week or on Sunday.
