Shalom!
My name is Tina, a California transplant since 1993 from the great Hoosier state. I have to confess I am more of a football fan than a basketball fan but I will cheer for any team from Indiana, especially the Irish!
While attending Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame I met my husband Chris, a southern California native. God has blessed us with 4 children: our firstborn son we adopted at birth and then had 3 biological daughters. Parenting 3 teenagers and 1 tween brings me to my knees a lot!
Before coming to SJB, I served as a Junior High catechist at St. Maximilian and then became a First Communion catechist when our first child began his sacrament preparation. The “AH HA” moments came so frequently! The seeds were planted and my journey to nose dive into the richness of our Catholic faith began, especially understanding the mystery of the Eucharist.
I am humbled to the First Communion coordinator at SBJ. Witnessing the children receive Jesus brings me to tears every time!
It is my prayer that your domestic church flourishes, and together we sew the love of God in your child’s heart so that they be ultimate disciples of our savior, Jesus Christ.
