St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church invites all 3rd to 5th-grade students to a special "Come and See" event with Fr. Ian! This exciting event is designed to introduce our young parishioners to the meaningful ministry of being an Altar Server.
What's in Store:
- Explore the Sacred Items: Learn about the chalices, patens, and other important items used during Mass.
- Learn Liturgical Colors: Find out what the different colors mean and how they are used throughout the Church year.
- Discover the Lectionary and Roman Missal: Learn how these key books guide our Liturgy.
- Hands-On Experience: Try on the robes and assist at the altar, experiencing what it's like to be an Altar Server.
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to deepen their understanding of the Mass and consider joining this vital ministry. Whether your child is curious about the altar or ready to serve, this event is perfect for them!
