The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is a beautiful opportunity to experience the healing touch of Jesus. Through the ministry of the priest or bishop, Jesus offers His grace to heal not only from sin but also, if it is God's will, from physical illness. His healing was a sign of God's Kingdom and a promise to conquer sin and death through His own death and resurrection.

This sacrament is not only for those near the end of life; anyone facing serious illness, mental, physical or the challenges of aging can receive its grace. While physical healing is always a hope, the Sacrament primarily brings spiritual healing, offering the Holy Spirit's gift of peace and courage to face life's difficulties.
