Thursday, August 26, 2021My dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
I am inviting each one of you, your family and friends to stop by the church this evening and light a candle and spend a few minutes in prayer for Peace and the safe return of all our men and women in uniform, our American citizens and our allies in Afghanistan.
Let us also lift up our prayers for all of all children and their good health and as this scourge of COVID-19 continues to infect the most vulnerable among us, our most precious resource in life, our children.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from 6-8pm. Please stop by for however long you can and spend some time with Jesus praying for others around the world, silent prayer, rosary, however you want to spend time with the Lord. I am asking , imploring, that we show up and practice what we preach, that as Catholics we are a people of prayer and of generous hearts and respect all life and are willing to pray for all life from womb to natural death. Now is the time.
