Our wonderful Deacon Barry Harper is presenting at the SCRC Spring Conference on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Deacon Barry will speak on ” The Unshakeable Hope of the Holy Spirit;, sharing his personal faith journey, highlighting the high stress in his career in the military and how his faith gave him hope and strength in difficult circumstances.

Since 1972, Southern California Renewal Communities (SCRC) has helped shepherd the modern-day Charismatic renewal among Catholics. Their mission is to help people discover a new openness to the reality of the Holy Spirit and live out their faith with renewed energy and joy.
Deacon Barry leads the Charismatic Prayer Group here at St. Julie’s. This group meets the first Sunday of each month. Members spend time in pray, worship, and song.
