Archbishop José H. Gomez will celebrate a special national Mass on March 19, 2021, the Solemnity of St. Joseph, at 8 a.m., which will be livestreamed from the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. This Solemnity is particularly special as Pope Francis has declared December 8, 2020 – December 8, 2021 the Year of St. Joseph.
Pope Francis will also be inaugurating the Year of “Amoris Laetitia Family” (March 19, 2021 – June 26, 2022). A special blessing for families will be given during the transmission of the Mass in recognition of the central role of family as the domestic Church.
The Mass will be livestreamed for all to celebrate virtually on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (@USCCB), Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels (@OLACathedral) and Archdiocesan (@LACatholics) digital and social platforms.
